Tile Tolerances |
Typical |
Size/Rectangularity: ± 0.75mm Thickness: ± 0.5 – 1.5mm Max Curvature: ± 0.5% |
Installation |
Flooring: Adhesive fix only using materials and procedures in Sadlerstone technical literature.
Cladding: Adhesive or mechanically fix. |
Recommended Grout Joints |
Flooring: 2 mm – 5 mm (1/8” – 1/4”) or minimum 0.5% of long side of tile.
Cladding: As specified for installation method/materials (min 0.5%). |
Expansion Joints |
As per engineer’s details or maximum intervals of 6m (20’) for interior and 4.5m (15’) for exterior applications. |
Sealing |
Supplied with impregnating primer seal. Apply further impregnator after initial clean. As surface
is subject to acid aggression (eg. lemon juice, vinegar), food area tiles should be fully sealed. |
Colour Fastness |
Negligible change in colour over 5 years. |
Warranty |
A limited warranty against wear is provided. |

*BPN = British Pendulum Number. Class refers to Australian Standard (AS/NZS 4586 - 2004) for slip resistance.
The Australian standard states that "factors such as usage, cleaning systems, applied coatings and patterns of wear
may affect the characteristics of the surface after classification." |
